Responsibilities
- Perform haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to clients' preferences.
- Utilize straight razors and other tools effectively to achieve desired styles.
- Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide professional advice on hairstyles and grooming.
- Sanitate all tools and workstations according to health and safety regulations.
- Assist with retail sales of hair care products and grooming supplies, providing recommendations based on client needs.
- Maintain an organized workspace and ensure the salon environment is clean and inviting.
- Stay updated on industry trends, techniques, and products to enhance service offerings.
- Provide additional services such as eyelash extensions, makeup application, nail care, or hair extensions as needed.
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Barber or in a similar role within the beauty industry.
- Proficiency in various barbering techniques including straight razor usage and color theory.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and understand their preferences.
- Ability to sanitize tools and maintain cleanliness in accordance with health standards.
- Experience in retail sales or store management is a plus.
- A valid barbering license or certification as required by local regulations.
- Passion for the beauty industry with a willingness to learn new skills and techniques.
