The Role
The System Integration Engineer at Outrider reports to the Robotics System Integration Manager. This onsite job at the Outrider Headquarters in Brighton, CO requires you to be at the office at least 3 days a week. Your primary responsibility will involve supporting integration, deployment, and sustainment activities of the Outrider System. You will conduct initial triage of issues from customer and test sites daily, working with teams to prioritize and ensure the resolution of each issue within the agreed-upon timelines. Additionally, you will iteratively enhance the process, incorporating automation for triaging and measuring performance and stability metrics. The position demands proficiency in diagnosing and resolving intricate hardware / software challenges, coupled with the flexibility to adapt in a fast-evolving work environment.
A successful candidate will have a demonstrated history of contributing technically to improving the reliability and performance of complex electronic systems in autonomous vehicles, robotic systems, or advanced sensing. They will embrace our goal to drive zero-emission, self-driving vehicle adoption, and help us realize our potential to define, build, and lead a new category of robotic automation for the enterprise.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Champion initiatives to enhance system stability and performance at customer locations and test sites.
- Establish, define, and receive approval for vehicle stability and performance metrics, iteratively improving these metrics for a deeper understanding of the system and as new capabilities are introduced.
- Perform daily triage of issues from customer sites and test sites, working with engineers to resolve them.
- Coordinate with teams, such as hardware, software, system safety, and test, to expedite the test-fix cycle.
- Iteratively enhance the process, developing and implementing automation for triaging and measuring performance and stability metrics.
- Be onsite at the Outrider Headquarters in Brighton, CO at least 3 days a week
- Proactively identify and mitigate technical risks

Work Conditions
The work environment includes both an indoor office setting and an indoor warehouse located in Brighton, Colorado. This role may involve exposure to moderate noise levels and occasional exposure to heat and cold.
