Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Clinician to join our team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality mental health services to individuals, families, and groups. This role involves conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering evidence-based interventions to support clients in achieving their mental health goals. The Clinician will work collaboratively with other professionals and may engage in telehealth services as needed.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on client assessments.
- Provide counseling services including individual, group therapy, and telehealth sessions.
- Utilize evidence-based practices for effective treatment of various mental health issues including PTSD care.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with relevant regulations.
- Engage in research activities to enhance clinical practices and contribute to the field of mental health.
- Address gender issues counseling as part of a holistic approach to client care.
- Administer psychopharmacology when appropriate, coordinating with prescribing providers.
- Facilitate group therapy sessions to promote peer support and shared experiences among clients.
- Stay informed on ICD-10 coding for proper documentation and billing processes.
Experience
- A Master's degree in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field is required.
- Experience working with children and adolescents is preferred but not mandatory.
- Familiarity with Christian counseling principles is a plus.
- Previous experience in telehealth services is advantageous.
- Knowledge of psychopharmacology and experience managing medication-related issues is beneficial.
- Strong understanding of gender issues counseling and trauma-informed care practices is essential.
- Experience with medical records management and research methodologies will be considered an asset.
