Job Description
- Providing strategic direction and management for individuals and corporate fundraising efforts.
- Managing the identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of major gifts.
- Planning and executing donor and development-focused events and communications.
- Creating strategies to increase support from donors, businesses, and other sources.
- Researching, writing, and managing foundation grants.
- Developing and tracking the annual development budget.
- Coordinating with the Deputy Director and bookkeeper to ensure financial transactions, reports, and the annual audit are accurate.
- Taking an active role in the management team.
- Keeping current on program areas.
- Working with communications staff to help develop consistent messaging to donors and the public.
- Representing CISA at events and meetings.
- Analyzing and reporting on fundraising progress.
- Supervising the Office Administrator and Development Coordinator.
Compensation
This position is salaried, with a range of $75k-$100k.
