JOB SUMMARY
The Social Media and Influencer Coordinator will work closely with the VP of Marketing, Director of Marketing, and Marketing Creative team to provide strategy, execution, and measurement of success within social media, influencer marketing, and marketing asset creation and distribution. The Social Media and Influencer Coordinator should have experience thriving in a fast-paced environment that demands attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a commitment to high-quality work. This role involves close collaboration and regular reporting with the VP of Marketing and the Director of Marketing, ensuring that all strategies and campaigns are cohesive, goal-driven, and measurable. As a key member of the Outward Hound marketing team, this individual will play an integral role in developing best-in-class campaigns that drive bottom-line revenue for Outward Hound and its subsidiary brands.
Roles / Responsibilities :
- Creates, manages, and executes annual paid and organic social media calendar in collaboration with key stakeholders.
- Ensures alignment with product launches, ecommerce promotional calendars, brick and mortar promotions, holidays, and key events.
- Day-to-day planning of social media content across key social channels with the goal of driving reach, revenue, follower growth, and engagement.
- Reporting on social KPIs for the company and supports customer promotional campaigns with post-campaign reporting.
- Manage all day-to-day communications through Outward Hound accounts including replying to public comments on brand accounts & direct messages. Report back any opportunities for improvement based on social conversations (e.g. Product love or consistent complaints).
- Manage influencer and ambassador campaigns with a focus on product awareness, e-commerce conversions, and retailer support; aligning on KPIs and determining success prior to launch.
- Source UGC and confirm approval for use on Outward Hound brand accounts.
- Coordinate and execute samples and fulfillment for giveaways.
- Assist the creative team with generating social media content and supporting where needed with other marketing creatives - including but not limited to - editing, tagging, uploading, and content organization.
- Accountability for budgetary spend both in paid social, influencer engagement, and product samples and shipping.
