We are seeking a Home Health Aide to join our team! In this role, you will work directly with patients, following personalized care plans in their homes.
You bring a compassionate approach, providing attentive care while building genuine relationships with those you serve. We are looking for someone detail-oriented, highly organized, and dedicated to creating a healthy environment that addresses patient needs.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for success in this position. Previous experience in Home Health or Hospice care is a plus.
Responsibilities :
- Assist patients with daily activities such as moving in and out of beds, baths, wheelchairs, or automobiles
- Care for patients by changing bed linens, doing laundry, cleaning the home, or assisting with personal care
- Maintain records of patient care, condition, progress, or problems to report and discuss observations with supervisors
- Build relationships with patients by conversing or reading aloud to help keep them mentally healthy and alert
- Give medication reminders
- Engage patients in exercises or other activities
Qualifications :
- Graduated from an accredited Home Health Aide program
- High School Diploma or GED
- Four years prior experience in senior caregiving
- Valid driver’s license
- Proof of current CPR certification (Valid means the CPR course was certified by the American Heart Association and includes in-person validation of your skills)
- Ability to pass AHCA background screening
