About The Role
Ovative is seeking a Manager, Experience Design to join the growing EMRge product team. This role will help lead the user research and product design efforts that bring EMRge to life across the marketing lifecycle—from scenario planning to campaign activation to performance measurement.
You will work side-by-side with Product Managers, Engineers, and Users to design workflows and interfaces that are intuitive, insightful, and a joy to use. You’ll play a key role in both discovering user needs and translating them into scalable, high-quality designs that serve internal teams and clients alike.
Responsibilities Of a Manager, Experience Design
At Ovative, we offer a transparent view into three core components of your total compensation package: Base Salary, Annual Bonus, and Benefits. The salary range for this position below is inclusive of an annual bonus. Actual offers are made with consideration for relevant experience and anticipated impact. For our Manager positions, our compensation ranges from $79,000 to $132,000, which is inclusive of a 20% bonus.

About The Role

You’ll play a key role in both discovering user needs and translating them into scalable, high-quality designs that serve internal teams and clients alike.
Responsibilities Of a Manager, Experience Design
- User-Centered Design: Conduct user interviews, translate insights into design hypotheses, and create user journeys, flows, and prototypes for EMRge tools.
- Design Craft: Build wireframes and high-fidelity UI designs using tools like Figma, and work closely with engineers to ensure design integrity through implementation.
- Collaboration: Contribute meaningfully in product discovery and sprint cycles with Product Managers and Developers; influence roadmaps through design thinking.
- Design Operations: Help shape a scalable design system and reusable component library for EMRge applications.
- Iteration & Feedback: Incorporate feedback from stakeholders and end users, using both qualitative and quantitative data to refine designs.
- 4–6 years of experience in product design, UX, or interaction design roles
- Strong UX portfolio demonstrating ability to simplify complex problems and deliver high-impact experiences
- Experience working on enterprise applications, internal tools, or data platforms is highly desirable
- Comfortable with both independent ownership and collaborative team execution
- Expert proficiency in Figma (design systems, prototyping, component libraries)
- Comfortable using design collaboration and delivery tools such as FigJam, Miro, Jira, Confluence, and user testing platforms
- Familiarity with Agile product development workflows
