Summary

The Marketing Manager position is responsible for developing and implementing strategic marketing initiatives to generate leads, attract new clients, and promote the company’s landscaping services. This role oversees digital marketing, social media, and content creation while ensuring brand consistency and alignment with business goals.

Responsibilities

Typical job responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Define marketing objectives and create strategic plans to achieve them. Identify appropriate marketing channels and platforms for reaching the target audience.
  • Ensure consistent branding and messaging across all marketing materials.
  • Conduct market research to identify target audiences, market trends, and competitors. Identify opportunities for growth, potential areas of improvement and provide insight and recommendations based on findings.
  • Create, manage, and execute multi- channel marketing campaigns across digital, print, social media, email, and events incorporating SEO, SEM, PPC advertising, and social media marketing to drive engagement and lead generation.
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partnerships to ensure seamless campaign execution within established budgets and timelines.
  • Monitor and analyze campaign performance, website analytics, and key performance indicators (KPIs). Generate reports to measure effectiveness and adjust as needed to optimize results.
  • Utilize social media platforms to post content such as blog posts, articles, videos, etc. showcasing the company’s expertise and services, to build brand awareness, promote services, and interact with potential customers.
  • Create engaging visual content, including photos and videos, that showcase landscaping projects and design concepts by organizing and overseeing photography shoots.
  • Partner with Sales Management to craft compelling and strategic award submissions across all business service lines.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned, with responsibilities and tasks subject to change as needed.

Education

Bachelor’s degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field (or equivalent work experience)

Experience

  • Proven experience in marketing, preferably in a similar industry or role.
  • Strong knowledge of marketing principles, tactics, and best practices.
  • Proficiency in using marketing tools and software, such as CRM systems, analytics platforms, and content management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Creative thinking and problem-solving abilities.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to interpret data.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to changing priorities and deadlines.
  • Familiarity with digital marketing techniques and platforms is highly desirable.

Other

Physical Demands: Position is primarily administrative in nature with extended periods of sitting. Should be able to lift under 20 lbs. Must be flexible with schedule. May require early morning or late afternoon hours at times. Will require travel to other locations or jobsites.

Work Environment: Primarily inside a temperature-controlled office building. Occasional exposure to exterior elements (i.e., pollen, chemicals, cold and heat etc.).
