Position Summary:

The Risk Consultant role works closely with Producers and internal staff to provide risk management support and advice to clients. The individual will work in close partnership with key clients to ascertain their unique requirements and create tailored risk management solutions. The Risk Consultant is tasked with performing risk assessments, pinpointing potential risks, and suggesting strategies for risk mitigation. Additionally, they will aid clients in the implementation of risk management and health programs, as well as policies while providing continuous support and training. The Risk Consultant is expected to remain informed about industry trends and best practices in risk management and will collaborate with internal teams to design and deliver resources and tools tailored to client needs. Effective communication and the ability to build relationships are crucial for success in this role.

Here’s what you’ll do:

  • Regular visits to client locations and involvement with client safety initiatives
  • Assists clients in implementing recommendations submitted by the insurance carrier staff or representatives
  • Develops safety policies/procedures and ensures they are being followed
  • Analyzes client loss reports for trends to develop valuable service offerings
  • Develops and conduct presentations and training sessions with client management and employees
  • Gathers information through surveys of all lines of business from prospects and clients to assist in the marketing of the client’s insurance programs
  • Serves as the liaison between insurance carrier staff and clients
  • Develops Risk Solution service plans for inclusion in prospect and client insurance programs
  • Assists Producers on client and prospective sales presentations
  • Attends industry professional meetings, conventions, seminars, and other training courses
  • Any other duties and tasks that are required by the Company.
  • Limited Direction: Works from overall policies, goals, and budgetary limits. Virtually self-supervising with direct accountability for final results.
  • No supervision: No supervisory responsibilities.

Here’s what you’ll need:

  • Five (5) years of field loss control, safety, compliance or increasing levels of responsibilities in related operations.
  • B.S degree preferred in a related field to include health and safety, science, engineering; or equivalent
  • ARM, CRM, ASP, CSP certification is desired.
  • Ongoing commitment to professional development through continuous education.
  • Ability to work onsite in a full-time or hybrid capacity (management discretion).
  • Must be able to travel to client locations and events as needed.
  • Demonstrated administrative computing skills including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Teams, Outlook, and Power Point)

  • Extremely strong oral and written communication skills, including the ability to translate “technical speak” in a way that end users at all levels can understand.
  • High energy work ethic with ability to work independently while maintaining excellent customer relationships.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with others.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $97,600.00 - $110,000.00 per year
