The Overhead Door Company of Portland Me. is seeking a motivated individual with a working knowledge of the service and installation of doors, motor operators & loading dock equipment. Five years of experience is preferred. The position is a Foreman of a 2 person crew-Primarily Commercial Service Department. At times could be scheduled alone. One will need a strong working knowledge of the installation & servicing of overhead doors, coiling doors, fire doors, industrial doors, specialty doors, automatic door equipment, loading dock equipment, operable wall partitions. Additional basic requirements are construction job site experience, a strong mechanical background, power tool skills, technical education, welding knowledge. Job requires good communication skills both verbal & written, along with the ability to work independently & as part of a team. You will work at various heights from ladders and different types of platform lift equipment. The position can require heavy lifting and working in various climate conditions. You must be able to provide your own hand tools. Driver's license is required.
