As an Experienced Garage Door Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various garage door systems. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will utilize your core skills in hand tools, heavy lifting, and power tools to ensure quality workmanship. Responsibilities
- Install and repair garage doors using hand and power tools, ensuring proper functionality and safety.
- Perform heavy lifting and door hanging tasks, adhering to best practices for physical safety.
- Read blueprints and schematics to accurately assess job requirements and specifications.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and maintenance of garage door systems.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to ensure timely project completion.
Qualifications
- Proficient in door hanging and installation techniques
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read blueprints
- Experience with hand tools and power tools
- Capable of heavy lifting and working in a construction site environment
- Familiarity with fabrication and carpentry practices
- Additional skills in glass installation and welding are a plus
