Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and maintain garage doors and their components using hand and power tools.
- Perform heavy lifting and door hanging tasks to ensure proper installation.
- Collaborate with team members on construction sites to complete projects efficiently.
- Utilize mechanical knowledge for troubleshooting and fabrication tasks, including glass installation and welding when necessary.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards while working in various environments.
Summary
As a Garage Door Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of various types of garage doors. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will utilize core skills such as hand tools and power tools, along with heavy lifting and door hanging techniques. Qualifications
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools for installation and repairs
- Strong mechanical knowledge and ability to read blueprints and schematics
- Experience with heavy lifting and door hanging techniques
- Familiarity with construction practices and carpentry
- Ability to work effectively on construction sites and perform fabrication tasks
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $25.00 per hour
