Overlake Medical Center & Clinics is currently seeking an IBCLC - Registered Nurse for our Parent & Baby Care Center.
PER DIEM
8 hour shifts
DAYS
The Parent & Baby Care Center offers a comprehensive range of services to support parents and baby's needs in the first months. The focus is on postpartum and newborn care. Support services include postpartum follow-up exams, lactation help, classes, and private consultations and telephone counseling, as needed.
Postpartum visits are offered to every mom who delivers at Overlake Childbirth Center. Families are scheduled to visit with a postpartum nurse, usually 2-3 days after they leave the hospital. During this visit at the Parent & Baby Care Center, the nurse will make sure mom and baby are recovering well from birth. Postpartum nurses will also check in about breastfeeding and go over any other mom and baby needs. Lactation consultants are available to assist mom and baby to succeed at breastfeeding - whether they delivered at Overlake or not.

For jobs with more than one level, the posted range reflects the minimum of the lowest level and the maximum of the highest level. Some positions also offer additional pay based on shift, certification or level of education. Job offers are determined based on a candidate's years of relevant experience and internal equity.

Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited school of Registered Nursing required, BSN preferred.
- Current WA state RN license required.
- Healthcare provider CPR required.
- Mother Baby Unit experience required.
- IBCLC certification
