DESCRIPTION
The Transportation Administrator performs a variety of administrative and clerical tasks related to the daily functions of the company and manufacturing plants.
DUTIES
Trucking Related Duties
o Manage daily timekeeping logs, equipment logs, as well as complete daily reports.
o Ensure departmental adherence to applicable laws and regulations.
o Recordkeeping; manages vehicle licensure and registration tags, insurance driver logs.
o Tracks driver hours of service and monitors logbooks to ensure DOT compliance.
o Maintains files for driver daily logs and daily vehicle inspection reports.
o Assist dispatch when necessary.
Lease Driver Related Duties
o Reconcile drivers’ invoices for tickets.
o Send/receive lease driver packets to/from potential lease haulers.
o Setup and maintain lease drivers and related information.
General Duties
o Data entry for manufacturing and construction operations
o Sort and distribute documents from the field/plant crews to office staff.
o Maintain the filing of invoices and other documents.
o Assist with the answering phone system.
- Other related duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate degree in Business or Accounting preferred.
Certificates and Licenses
- Valid driver license
Required Skills/Abilities
Must be reliable and trustworthy.Proficient in computer applications
Ability to learn various computer software.
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
