Maintenance Supervisor
Reports to : Division Manager
Position summary :
The Maintenance Supervisor will oversee all maintenance needs for both Overton Facilities. This includes installing, moving, repairing machine equipment, and scheduling all machine PM’s. Scheduling maintenance technicians’ daily work tasks needed either on machines or the building and grounds. Scheduling all outside technicians needed to be onsite for repairs on machines, buildings, and grounds.
Maintenance Supervisor Responsibilities Include :
Inspecting facilities periodically to determine problems and necessary maintenance.
Preparing weekly maintenance schedules and allocating work to techs.
Supervising and training maintenance technicians, participate in the annual review process.
Hire and supervise tradesmen / service techs during installations, repairs, or maintenance from outside companies.
Inspect and maintain building systems (heating, air, ventilation, etc.)
Contribute to the development of maintenance budget and ensure compliance.
Participate in the coordination of projects, or renovations with management, and manage outside contacts.
Ensure adherence to quality standards, health, and safety regulations for all facilities.
Maintain ISO / IATF KPI’s and risk matrix requirements set from the quality system in place.
Keep management updated on various maintenance projects, their status and progress on completion in weekly meetings.
Responsible for maintaining critical spare parts, inventory as required for facilities and operations.
Requirements and Skills :
Proven experience as a maintenance supervisor or similar role
Strong technical knowledge of building systems (electrical, heating, cooling, etc.)
Knowledge of health and safety regulations and practices
Understanding budgeting and management performance matrix
Excellent planning, communication, and leadership skills
Must have a good knowledge of computers, software, and hardware.
Able to adapt to a fast-paced environment.
High school diploma, Degree from trades school will be a plus.
Professional certifications (HVAC, Electrical, Repair technician) are preferred and required.
10 plus years of experience in the related fields
