Summary: The Shipping Coordinator will be primarily responsible for the processing of daily files and shipping labels for multiple customers. Duties and Responsibilities:
- Assisting in processing daily files and shipping labels for multiple customers – this requires a high level of attention to detail
- Responsible for working in ShipWorks, UPS and FedEx software to process bulk shipments
- Responsible for sending tracking information back on shipments in a timely manner
- Responsible for organizing and securing shipping dates in relation to both need by and event dates for all orders
- Work closely with Special Projects to ensure that all orders are processed, and shipped in a timely manner with the ability and comfortability to problem solve if stock issues arise
- Performs other duties as assigned including assisting the larger team with overflow projects
- Customer service, both great phone and email etiquette (majority will be internal with sales)
- Work in collaboration with Sales and different departments in Operations.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Must have critical thinking ability and excellent attention to detail
- Strong initiative, confidence and the ability to ask questions as needed
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize multiple projects
- Ability to work calmly under pressure
- Proficient in MS Office; beginner to intermediate Excel experience
- High School Diploma
