As a Lead Security Technician, you will play a pivotal role in our operations by overseeing the installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of security systems. You will lead a team of technicians, ensuring that all projects are completed efficiently, on time, and within budget. Your expertise will be crucial in maintaining high standards of quality and customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of security technicians in installation, maintenance, and repair of security systems including CCTV, access control, intrusion detection, and audio systems.
- Provide accurate and quantifiable daily reports on project progress.
- Coordinate and schedule installation and service calls to ensure timely completion of projects.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company policies in all installations and service activities.
- Troubleshoot complex security system issues and provide timely resolutions.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all installations, inspections, maintenance, and repairs.
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and other stakeholders to deliver integrated security solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience (minimum 5 years) in the installation and maintenance of security systems.
- Previous experience in a leadership or supervisory role preferred.
- In-depth knowledge of CCTV, access control systems, intrusion detection systems, and voice systems.
- Strong understanding of networking principles and IP-based security systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to troubleshoot technical issues.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and technical manuals.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
