OVID-ELSIE AREA SCHOOLS POSITION DESCRIPTION
Position Title: Classification III - Dishwasher/Server
Reports to: Food Service Director
Location: Middle School
Terms of Employment:
- Monday - Friday 10:30 am 1:00 pm (2.5 Hours Daily) *
- Not Scheduled on Districts Early Release Days (No lunch served) *
- Following traditional school year calendar *
Compensation: Based on the Ovid-Elsie Food Service Bargaining Unit contract.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a computer to check students out *
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies *
- Collect and wash dishes, utensils, and kitchen equipment *
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in the dishwashing area *
- Perform other related duties as assigned by the supervisor *
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent *
- Previous experience in food service or cashiering preferred *
- Certified in Safety and Sanitation within 6 months of date of hire *
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team *
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills *
- Must pass a background check *
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds *
- Ability to stand for extended periods *
- Ability to bend, stoop, and reach as necessary *
