Dump Trailer Driver

Job Overview
We are seeking a reliable and skilled Dump Truck Driver to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting dump trailers to and from job sites in a safe and efficient manner. This role requires a strong understanding of truck operations, adherence to safety protocols, and excellent driving skills. The Dump Truck Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring that projects are completed on time and within specifications.

Duties

• Conduct pre-trip inspections to ensure the vehicle is in good working condition.
• Safely load and unload dump trailers at designated locations.
• Follow all safety regulations and company policies while on and off the road.
• Communicate effectively with Production Manager regarding delivery schedules and any issues encountered during transport.
• Assist with minor maintenance tasks on the truck as needed.
• Ensure the cleanliness of the vehicle both inside and out.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver’s license (CDL) with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience in truck driving, particularly with dump trailers.
• Ability to operate forklifts or other material handling equipment is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of road safety regulations and best practices in commercial driving.
• Excellent time management skills and ability to work independently.
• Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.
