The Facilities and Finance Administrative Assistant provides administrative and program support for the Director of Finance & Operations Department and Director of Facilities, Infrastructure & Security. The incumbent coordinates the work of other staff within the district and ensures that confidential information is secured and maintained within the executive division of the district.
Qualifications :
High school diploma. An associate degree, technical certificate, and experience with office procedures, accounting processes, and proficiency with Microsoft Office and data base management programs preferred. One to three year related experience preferred.
Other Skills & Abilities :
Knowledge of general laws and administrative policies governing school district financial practices and procedures; general knowledge of the principles and practices of accounting and budgeting in school districts; ability to prepare informative financial reports; problem solving with data requiring independent interpretation of guidelines; ability to operate standard office equipment including pertinent software applications, maintaining accurate records; ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with associates, government officials and the general public; maintaining confidentiality; setting priorities; meeting deadlines and schedules; working with detailed information; adapting to changing priorities; and ability to utilize resources from other departments. Strong computer applications and analytical skills; ability to manage and complete multiple tasks and deadlines; excellent written and oral communication skills; strong interpersonal communication skills with public, administrators, and staff.
Schedule :
5 days per week / 8 hours per day / 52 weeks per year
Pay Range :
B-2-3 / / $21.59 - $24.57 per hour depending on experience
