Job Summary: IT Deployment Technician
As an IT Deployment Technician, you’ll be on the frontlines of technology implementation where you will be installing and configuring hardware and software systems. You’ll play a key role in ensuring smooth deployments for new and existing employees.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare, install, and configure hardware (e.g., desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and peripherals.)
- Deploy software and perform updates as needed.
- Troubleshoot technical issues during deployment and provide timely resolution.
- Maintain accurate records of deployed assets and configurations.
- Collaborate with other IT staff to ensure timely and efficient rollouts.
- Support system migrations, refresh projects, and user onboarding activities.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred).
- 1–3 years of experience in a technical support or IT deployment role.
- Proficient with Windows, Mac and common enterprise software.
- Ability to lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Must be detail-oriented and able to follow procedures accurately.
- Valid driver’s license required.
