Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Behavior Technician (BT) to join our team, providing high-quality Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) services to children with autism. The BT will work under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) to implement individualized treatment plans in either a center-based or in-home setting.
Responsibilities:
- Implement ABA therapy programs as designed and supervised by a BCBA.
- Work directly with children with autism to build communication, social, and daily living skills.
- Utilize evidence-based behavior intervention strategies.
- Collect and record accurate data on client progress and behavior.
- Collaborate with families and the interdisciplinary team to ensure consistency in interventions.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions as required.
- Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and adherence to ethical guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Required: At least 1 year of experience as a Behavior Technician working with children with autism.
- Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in Psychology, Education, Social Work, or a related field.
- Completion of a 40-hour RBT training required (Free training provided by Agency).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently while following treatment plans.
- Reliable transportation for in-home sessions.
- CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain).
