Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Schedule and implement various counseling services for students.
- Coordinate and implement classroom guidance visits for grades K-3.
- Maintain student records.
- Participate on the instructional support team.
- Consult with staff concerning student needs and strategies.
- Consult with parents regarding student needs.
- Facilitate selection process for the academically talented program.
- Supervise distribution and collection of standardized testing materials.
- Assist in orientation of new students and parents.
- Provide information on various school programs and services.

- Master’s Degree in School Counseling.
- Pennsylvania Elementary School Guidance Certification.
- Effective interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop good relationships with students, peers, parents and community.
- Well organized with good time management skills.
- Ability to express self clearly and concisely in oral and written communications; and to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups.
- Computer literate and competent with word processing, spreadsheet and database applications.
- Submission of PA School Personnel Health form.
- Current Act 34, Act 151 and Act 114 clearances.

- 190 days, 7 hours 30 minutes per day.
- Salary and benefits according to the negotiated agreement between the Board of School Directors and the Roberts Education Association.
- Bachelor's Degree starting $58,000; Master's Degree starting $64,000; Final salary determined by education and experience.*
