Job Description:
We are currently seeking an experienced Night Supervisor to oversee operations at our steel plant in Columbia, SC. This role is responsible for managing the night shift, ensuring production goals are met, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise night shift employees and enforce safety protocols
Monitor and adjust production processes to meet targets
Coordinate with other departments and supervisors to ensure smooth workflow
Train, mentor, and support new employees
Address and resolve employee issues or conflicts as they arise
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Night Supervisor in a steel plant or similar manufacturing environment
Strong leadership and communication skills
Ability to perform under pressure and make sound decisions quickly
In-depth knowledge of safety regulations and procedures
Excellent problem-solving and organizational skills
Shift Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 6:00 PM – 4:00 AM
