Supervision Received: Airport Director, Airport Maintenance Supervisor
GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION: Responsible for maintaining all aspects of Airport properties including, but not limited to Airport Terminal, airport owned hangars, maintenance facility, and air-side and land-side properties. Work will be completed in a team environment. Hours generally consist of 7:00am-3:30pm Monday-Friday. Responsible for a week-end on-call routine, generally once a month.
ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES:
- Performs building, facility, and vehicle maintenance, including mowing equipment
- Maintains condition of air-side and land-side grounds
- Mowing operations of the airport involving zero-turn mower and tractor with a bush hog attachment
- Perform snow removal operations
- Conduct inspections in accordance with Airport Certification Manual
- Achieve a general understanding of FAA guidelines as it relates to the job title
- Must be able to work in multiple different weather conditions
- Other duties as assigned by the Airport Director or Airport Maintenance Supervisor
SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Possession of a valid driver's license
- Must be capable of operating various types of equipment ranging from a push mower to a front-end loader
