Job Summary
Supervises children in the child care area of the Wellness Center. Job Responsibilities
- Ensures children are accounted for and supervised at all times.
- Initiates and leads age-appropriate educational or recreational activities.
- Ensures the environment is in a safe, organized, and clean condition. Reports deficiencies to supervisor immediately.
- Cleans or disinfects toys, equipment, storage areas, and play surfaces as scheduled and needed.
- Follows policies and protocols when accepting children into, and releasing children from, the child care area.
- Interacts with children and parents appropriately.
- Follows the organization's policies and protocols when caring for, communicating with, disciplining, or rendering first aid to children.
- Ensures accurate record keeping of utilization, reservations, and tickets.
