Job Summary
Provides magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) and patient care services at defined levels to patients. Job Responsibilities
- Positions patients and selects anatomic and technical parameters accurately. Applies as low as reasonably achievable (ALARA) principle to minimize exposure to patients, self, and others.
- Implements patient safety standards.
- Prepares for and assists the physician in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) procedures.
- Prepares and administers contrast media and / or medications within the accepted scope of practice and applicable state and federal regulations.
