Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a CNC Tool and Tool Path Programmer at Owings Patterns in Sellersburg, IN. The Programmer will be responsible for programming CNC machines, creating tool paths, machining parts, and providing training on CNC operations. The role will involve collaborating with the engineering and production teams to ensure efficient and high-quality tooling solutions.
Qualifications
- Programming skills for CNC machines
- Machining experience
- Teaching abilities for training on CNC operations
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of CAD / CAM software, ie. SolidWorks, SurfCam, WorkNC
- Experience in the tooling or manufacturing industry
- Attention to detail and precision
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Plastic Injection Molding and / or Thermoforming Tool Design Experience
- 5) years Machinist Experience with CAM and / or G Code Programming Experience Preferred
