OWL Services is seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Inventory Manager to join our team. The Inventory Manager oversees inventory control, reporting, cycle counts, physical inventory, and collaboration with cross functional teams. This role requires travel (approximately 40%) to manage inventory processes at various locations. This is an opportunity for a long-term position and to join a growing company.
Responsibilities
- Inventory control, encompassing min / max planning, storage space optimization, and maintaining optimal stock levels.
- Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventories to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Service, Purchasing, IT, and Sales, to align inventory levels, processes, and systems with business objectives.
- Generate regular inventory reports, including KPI’s such as inventory turnover, first time order fulfilment, backorders, and inventory carrying cost.
- Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, including root cause analysis and corrective actions.
- Implement and maintain best practices in inventory management, stock rotation, and inventory accuracy.
- Participate in process improvement projects to optimize inventory management processes and reduce costs.
- Stay abreast of industry best practices, new technologies, and regulatory changes.
- Implement and maintain safe work practices and procedures for all inventory-related activities.
