The team at Owyhee Oral Surgery are seeking a team member that is personable, detail oriented, organized, computer literate and has a great track record for attendance. Provides outstanding customer service to our patients and supports our team members. Must have an exemplary attendance record.

Job Duties

· Completes daily front office functions, answers phones, check-in patients

· Collect, enter and track patient data within the electronic record

· Record and update contact information

· Record and reschedule appointments as directed

· Complete follow up and reminder calls for appointments

· Operate office machines and manage phone lines, mail, texting and email

· File, clerical duties, special projects, and other front office functions as asked by team members

Skills and Abilities

· Ability to communicate with an exceptional customer service mindset

· Ability to understand and maintain compliance with all regulatory requirements and standards and ensuring continuous compliance

· Ability to transcribe, collect, enter and track patient data using a computer

· Ability to manipulate detailed pieces of data with accuracy and focus

· Work well under pressure and be flexible to help where needed

· Proficient computer skills

Education and Experience

High School diploma or equivalent

Minimum of 1 year experience in an administrative supporting role; preferably in a Dental/Medical care setting

Job Type: 4/5 days per week, Monday-Friday

Experience:

• Front Desk: 1 year (Preferred)
• Dental/Medical Office: 1 year (Preferred)

Education:

• High school or equivalent (Preferred)
