Senior Accounting Manager

Our client is a family-owned industry leader known for their vertically integrated operations and strong regional presence. They're looking for a sharp, strategic Senior Accounting Manager to lead key financial functions, drive process improvements, and ensure GAAP compliance across payroll, AP, and general ledger operations. This is a high-impact role for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment and values both precision and leadership.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage general ledger, payroll, and centralized accounts payable

• Prepare monthly financial statements and journal entries

• Oversee internal and external audits (U.S. and Canada)

• Lead fixed asset accounting and audits

• Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis

• Ensure compliance with GAAP and other reporting requirements

• Supervise tax filings (sales/use/property) and payroll processing

• Continuously improve accounting processes and systems

What We're Looking For:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field (CPA or CMA required)

• 7 years of relevant experience, preferably in manufacturing, construction, or public accounting

• Strong analytical, organizational, and leadership skills

• Ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines

• High level of discretion and confidentiality
