What are the responsibilities and job description for the Senior Program Manager – Production/Manufacturing position at OxEon Energy?
OxEon is seeking a Senior Program Manager with experience in managing manufacturing and production projects to lead a Department Of Energy initiative focused on scaling up our Solid Oxide Electrolysis manufacturing. This role will oversee the project from equipment development through to commissioning, including the implementation of ERP and other manufacturing management systems.
Responsibilities:
- Strategize, implement, and maintain program initiatives that adhere to organizational objectives
- Develop program assessment protocols for evaluation and improvement, lead team in implementation of internal review processes.
- Oversee multiple project teams, ensuring program goals are reached
- Manage budget and input into the full program budget structure for resource planning
- Develop and manage budget for projects and be accountable for delivering against established business goals/objectives
- Work closely with Program Customer, cross-functional teams, and assigned project managers to plan and develop scope, deliverables, required resources, work plan, budget, and timing for new initiatives
- Work with other program managers to identify risks and opportunities across multiple projects within the department
- Analyze, evaluate, and overcome program risks, and produce program reports for management and stakeholders
- Create proposal budgets and manage multi-sub award proposal submissions, including definition of scope of work and other key inputs.
- Help develop and track departmental KPIs to lead continuous improvement efforts
- Other duties as assigned
Working Conditions: Work in office, R&D laboratories, and manufacturing environments
Qualifications:
- 7 -10 Years of Program Management Experience
- Experience managing manufacturing projects
- Proven history of successful customer interaction
- Program Management Experience of Production/Manufacturing programs
- Experience in ERP systems and earned value management
- Proficiency with Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint and other office suite products
- Proficiency in technical writing
- Experience building and managing budgets
- Must be self-motivated and a great team leader.
Preferred Experience Requirements:
PMP Certification
Experience in customer presentations for different review processes
AS9100D or ISO related experience for business processes
Minimum Education: Related bachelors or equivalent industry experience
Physical Requirements: The majority of the work Is at a desk. Occasionally lifting weight not to exceed 20 pounds
