Key Responsibilities

The Oxford Administrative Clerk will be responsible for:

  • Receiving and processing mail, faxes, and other communications;
  • Managing office supplies, equipment, and facilities;
  • Providing administrative support for the Planning Office, including responding to public inquiries and processing permit applications;
  • Assisting with budget preparation, financial reporting, and grant writing;

You will also be expected to:

  • Develop and implement effective administrative procedures and policies;
  • Collaborate with colleagues to achieve shared goals and objectives;
  • Stay up-to-date with relevant laws, regulations, and best practices in local government administration.

Requirements

To be considered for this role, you must possess:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment;
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail;
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and other productivity software;
