OXFORD ATHLETIC CLUB JOB DESCRIPTION
Job Title: Pilates Trainer
Department: Fitness/Mind Body
Job Summary: Oxford Athletic Club is seeking full-time* Pilates Reformer Trainers. Comprehensive Pilates Certification through an accredited organization (i.e., Peak Pilates, Powerhouse Pilates) is required along with a current CPR certification. A minimum of two years training experience in working with clientele of all fitness levels is preferred. Please provide photocopies of all certifications. Pilates Trainers teach to individual clients and to small group classes specializing in Pilates Reformer and Pilates Chair.
*Eligible for full-time status after meeting a minimum of 30 hours per week.
Job Duties:
1. Develops specific training sessions for each client.
2. Responsible for the safe design of classes and exercises.
3. Full-time position status upon meeting eligibility requirements.
4. Maintains all First Aid / CPR Certifications and Pilates Certifications.
5. Communicates to Personal Training Manager
6. Keep studios swept, tidy, and organized. Keeps supplies and equipment clean and well maintained.
7. Assists with and promotes special events and programs to the Club Membership by keeping current with Club events, flyers, and meeting information.
8. Resolves any Member issues through effective customer service skills and by referring issue to the appropriate manager. Contact Manager on Duty (MOD) if unsure of how to resolve a situation.
9. Enforces current OAC Club and departmental policies by keeping current with changes and utilizing effective communication skills.
10. Performs first aid and emergency responder techniques by maintaining CPR/AED and First Aid Certification. Must be aware of appropriate emergency response.

11. Attends scheduled departmental meetings and educational training sessions, as required.
12. Supports supervisors and fellow staff in providing quality programs and services to our Members as well as incorporating an atmosphere where we are constantly striving to exceed one’s expectations.
13. Completes all other tasks as assigned by Department Supervisor, Director, or Club Managers.
Education & Training:
- Current CPR/AED and First Aid Certification required.
- In-house training on policies and procedure as provided by management.
- Current Pilates Certification(s) required.
- Experience in working with a variety of clientele fitness levels
Work Experience: At least one-year teaching experience is recommended.
Skills & Abilities:
- Must be energetic, enthusiastic, and pleasant. Exhibits a professional manner, discretion, arrives on time, and ensures a safely designed class for participants. Displays a professional appearance in dress and grooming that is representative of our brand. Excellent verbal / written communication and promotional skills are necessary. Must have current Pilates Reformer Equipment certifications and teaching experience.

Pay: $35.00 - $45.00 per hour
