As an Associate Director covering US real estate economics, you will spearhead our analytics and forecasting efforts across major US metropolitan real estate markets. This role requires deep knowledge of the US metro-level real estate sector, experience forecasting real estate markets, and comfort with public speaking. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in shaping and communicating our forecast views, providing insights that will guide investors, developers and occupiers.

Key Responsibilities

  • Communicate and shape US metro-level real estate forecasts, in co-ordination with the global and regional real estate economics team and the US macro team.
  • Produce regular reports, chartbooks, thematic research and presentations.
  • Analyze large datasets to identify trends, risks and opportunities in the real estate market.
  • Line management for a junior US metro analyst.
  • Engage with clients to understand their needs and shape the service.
  • Promote the service with public speaking at US real estate events (external and internal).

Skills, Knowledge & Expertise

  • Degree in Economics, Real Estate, Mathematics, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 10-years of experience in the real estate sector.
  • Strong understanding of the US metro real estate markets and their driving economic factors.
  • Excellent presentation and communication skills, with a proven track record of engaging with executive-level stakeholders.
  • Line management experience preferred.
  • Mathematics / statistics skills related to forecasting and dealing with large datasets.
  • Team player with an analytical mindset and exceptional problem-solving skills.
