We are seeking a highly motivated Business Intelligence Engineer with 2-3 years of experience to join our data-driven team in Wayne/Philadelphia, PA. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data analysis, reporting, and visualization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including business development, product, and data science, to help deliver actionable insights and drive decision-making processes.
Our client includes destination marketing organizations at the city, state, and national levels; leading industry trade associations; and major corporate owners, operators and brands in the travel sector. We have a longstanding relationship with many of our clients, typically through subscription-based services or recurring studies.

Key Responsibilities
- Analyze large datasets from media platforms, marketing channels, and internal systems to uncover trends and actionable insights.
- Create Tableau dashboards and reports to visualize performance metrics, marketing efficiency, and ROI.
- Collaborate with business development, product, and engineering teams to define data requirements and provide insights. Act as an internal analytics consultant for the media and web attribution team, contributing to long-term strategy.
- Ensure data quality, consistency, and accuracy by implementing validation and governance processes. Educate teams on analytics and insights through whitepapers, documentation, and learning sessions.
- Automate recurring reports to focus on deeper analysis and ad-hoc requests.
- Develop a deep understanding of media attribution, the tourism industry, and key internal and external stakeholders.
- 2-3 years of experience in Business Intelligence, Data Analysis, or a related field.
- Proficiency in SQL; experience with Python or R is a plus.
- Expertise in Tableau, Power BI, or Looker for data visualization and strong analytical skills and experience with large datasets.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to convey complex insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- High attention to detail, with the ability to identify trends, anomalies, and opportunities.
- Experience with digital media platforms (e.g., Google Analytics, Facebook Ads), and strong understanding of media and attribution data, including multi-touch attribution models is a plus.
- Knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Google Cloud) and data warehousing solutions (e.g., Snowflake, BigQuery) is a plus.
