Tourism Economics is a subsidiary of Oxford Economics dedicated to analytical consulting in the tourism sector. We are seeking a high-caliber Project Coordinator to join our team, based in our Wayne or Philadelphia, PA (USA) office.
Our clients include destination marketing organizations at the city, state, and national levels; leading industry trade associations; and major corporate owners, operators, and brands in the travel sector. We have a longstanding relationship with many of our clients, typically through subscription-based services or recurring studies. We serve a global client base from our offices in the US and UK
Examples Of Our Work Include
This individual must have strong communication, organizational and multi-tasking skills, as well as superior interpersonal skills capable of maintaining strong relationships. This position reports to the Head of Destination Studies and works closely with Director-level staff across our consulting practice. The role will include daily interaction with a talented team, including young economic consultants and data visualization specialists, and experienced team leaders. An individual with strong interpersonal and organization skills will be a great addition to the growing practice.
Attention to detail is critical and applicants should take pride in producing accurate work on a timely basis in collaboration with colleagues. This position offers strong opportunities for skill development and personal growth as part of a small, highly capable, and growing team.

Key Responsibilities
The main responsibilities of the Project Coordinator role include:
- Support US consulting teams with organization of both new and ongoing projects and tasks
- Manage Wrike (project management software)
- Assign and monitor resources effectively to enhance project efficiency and maximize deliverables output
- Ensure all aspects of a project are organized and in accordance with timeline and deliverables requirements
- Update and maintain qualifications and links within proposals
- Develop a practical understanding of the clients' needs and usage of research and data sources
- Develop and maintain project performance database that tracks overall progress and achievement of milestones
- Assist with the onboarding of new clients
- Other related duties as needed
- Bachelor or Master's degree in relevant field
- Proven success with working both independently and in teams within a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with Excel, Tableau, Salesforce, and Wrike
- Excellent communication (written and verbal), organization, and multi-tasking skills.
