Hadoop Administrator

Project Details :

• Ensure the platform is up and running and available for developers and end users
• Provide technical support and design Big Data / Hadoop platforms (i.e. Hive, HBase, Kafka, Yarn, Druid etc.)
• Handle and identify possible failure scenarios (Incident Management)
• Respond to Hadoop platform end users on data or application issues
• Handle Hadoop administration activities using Ranger and Knox
• Exposure to Storm, Spark and Zeppelin; respond to end users in any issues while running Spark Jobs
• Work with data delivery team to setup new Hadoop users
• Set up new users in clusters and provide access to Hive, HDFS, Yarn, Hue using Ranger
• Monitor Hadoop cluster connectivity and security alerts
• Manage and review Hadoop log files
