Oxford is seeking a dedicated and passionate Offensive and Defensive Line Coach to join our high school football coaching staff. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in coaching football at the high school level, with a focus on developing players' skills, fostering teamwork, and promoting sportsmanship. This role is critical in guiding our student-athletes to achieve their highest potential both on and off the field.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive training programs for the offensive and defensive line positions.
• Conduct regular practice sessions focusing on technique, strategy, and physical conditioning.
• Collaborate with the head coach and other coaching staff to develop game plans and strategies.
• Mentor and motivate student-athletes to build character, discipline, and teamwork.
• Analyze game footage to provide feedback and develop improvement plans for players.
• Ensure a safe and positive environment for all athletes, adhering to school and league policies.
• Communicate effectively with players, parents, and school administration.
• Attend all practices, games, and relevant team meetings.
• Assist in the development of new talent within the school.
Qualifications:
• Previous coaching experience at the high school level or higher, preferably with a focus on offensive and defensive line coaching.
• Strong understanding of football strategies, rules, and safety protocols.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to inspire and motivate young athletes.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
