We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Football Running Back and Safeties Coach to join our coaching staff. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies to enhance the performance and skills of our running backs and safeties. This role requires a dynamic individual with a strong understanding of football techniques, game strategies, and player development.
Key Responsibilities:
Coaching & Development:
1. Plan, organize, and conduct practice sessions focusing on running back and safeties techniques.
2. Develop individualized training programs to enhance players' athletic skills and performance.
3. Provide constructive feedback to players to improve their abilities and game understanding.
Game Strategy & Planning:
1. Collaborate with the head coach and other coaching staff to develop game plans and strategies.
2. Analyze game footage to identify areas for improvement and strategize accordingly.
3. Assist in the preparation of scouting reports for upcoming opponents.
Player Mentorship:
1. Mentor student-athletes on and off the field to promote personal growth, sportsmanship, and teamwork.
2. Encourage academic success and monitor the academic progress of student-athletes.
Recruitment:
1. Assist in the recruitment and evaluation of potential student-athletes.
2. Build relationships with high school coaches and recruits to promote the program.
Administrative Duties:
1. Maintain accurate records of player progress and development.
2. Ensure compliance with all relevant rules and regulations.
Qualifications:
• Proven experience coaching running backs and/or safeties at the high school, college, or professional level.
• Strong understanding of football strategies, techniques, and regulations.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
