THE POSITION:
Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) - Brighton – Full-time - No Weekends
We are looking for a talented BCBA who has a strong clinical background coupled with a team mindset and a dedication to serve our clients. With the utilization of our unique synergistic approach to therapy we can accelerate the development process.
Duties/Responsibilities:
- Creates simulated conditions to observe the behavior of each client
- Formulates appropriate treatment plans that are sensitive to clients’ cognitive, social, emotional, and sensory needs
- Administers treatment and tailor interventions as needed
- Suggests additional treatment by other professionals as required
- Operates within time, financial, and other resource constraints
- Remains abreast of changes in research on evidence-based practices
- Advocates for the inclusion of individuals with disorders and disabilities within society
Required Skills/Abilities:
- Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
- Able to act decisively and maintain client dignity
- Proven work experience as a BCBA or similar role
- Have very strong interpersonal skills to build professional relationships with clients, families, and co-workers
- Have excellent leadership, and time management skills
- Adhere to ethical standards in HIPAA and the BCBA code of ethics
- Be excited about the growth opportunities ahead
- Have a passion for research
- Love to think outside the box to provide excellence in care
Education and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis
- Licensed BCBA in the State of Michigan
