Overview
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our office. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of financial concepts and accounting practices, ensuring the smooth functioning of administrative tasks while supporting the financial health of the organization. This role is vital in maintaining efficient office procedures, managing accounts, and providing essential support to our team.

Duties

  • Manage day-to-day office operations, including clerical tasks and administrative support.
  • Oversee accounts payable and accounts receivable processes to ensure timely payments and collections.
  • Prepare and maintain accurate financial reports, including journal entries and financial report writing.
  • Utilize accounting software, such as Quicken, to manage financial transactions and records effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with tax regulations and assist with tax-related documentation as necessary.
  • Coordinate with external accountants for audits and financial reviews.
  • Maintain organized records of all financial documents, ensuring easy access for audits or inquiries.
  • Provide support in budgeting processes and financial planning initiatives.
  • Assist in training new staff on office procedures and software usage.

Skills

  • Proficient in accounting software, particularly Quicken or similar platforms.
  • Strong knowledge of financial concepts, including double entry bookkeeping and tax regulations.
  • Excellent skills in financial report writing with attention to detail.
  • Experience with journal entries, accounts receivable, and accounts payable processes.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with team members and external partners.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment.
