Key Responsibilities:
Offensive Strategy Development:
1. Design and implement offensive game plans and strategies in collaboration with the head coach and other coaching staff.
2. Analyze the strengths and weaknesses of the team to optimize offensive play.
Game Planning and Execution:
1. Conduct detailed game analysis to prepare for opponents and adjust strategies as necessary.
2. Coordinate offensive plays during games to maximize scoring opportunities.
Player Development:
1. Mentor and develop offensive players, focusing on enhancing individual and team performance.
2. Conduct regular meetings with players to provide feedback and develop their skills.
Collaboration:
1. Work closely with the head coach, defensive coordinator, and other staff to ensure cohesive team strategy.
2. Participate in recruiting efforts to attract talented offensive players to the program.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in coaching football, particularly focused on offensive coordination, at the high school, college, or professional level.
- Strong understanding of offensive football strategies and play-calling.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
