TITLE: Running Club AdviserSUMMARY: Reporting to the Building Principal, the focus of the Running Club Adviser is on building students running stamina but also incorporating positive self-esteem, perseverance, and other social skills. The club culminates in a race to run 1 or 2 miles with families invited to cheer students on.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Current member of the Oxford Education Association.PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to remain in a stationary position for extended periods and/or position oneself to demonstrate technique.WORK ENVIRONMENT: Work is generally performed in a school environment, athletic field, athletic setting, indoors and outdoors. The noise level is usually moderate to loud but occasionally high depending upon student population and activities. Employee is regularly exposed to outdoor weather conditions.
