Oxford Solutions is currently working with a client who is a leading wristwatch manufacturer known for high-precision craftsmanship and passion for creating timepieces that combine elegance with mechanical mastery. Our client is seeking a skilled CNC Programmer & Machinist to join their innovative team, where you’ll work hands-on to help craft world-class watches.
As a CNC Programmer & Machinist, you will be an integral part of the manufacturing team, responsible for both programming and operating CNC mills and lathes in a high-precision environment. You will work with Fusion 360 for CAM programming and be actively involved on the shop floor, setting up new parts, troubleshooting, and optimizing processes.We are looking for a team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and work hands-on with the machines. THIS ROLE IS ONSITE 5 DAYS A WEEK.
Responsibilities- Program and operate CNC mills and lathes, ensuring precision in the machining process.
- Develop CAM programs using Fusion 360.
- Set up, troubleshoot, and adjust CNC machinery for new parts and production runs.
- Maintain high-quality standards in machining to meet the precision requirements of wristwatch components.
- Collaborate closely with other team members to ensure smooth workflow and optimal production.
- Perform regular maintenance and calibration of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Participate in process improvements and contribute ideas to increase efficiency and quality.
- 3-5 years of CNC programming experience, ideally with Fusion 360.
- Hands-on experience with operating CNC mills and lathes in a high-precision manufacturing environment.
- Strong understanding of CAM software and machining techniques.
- Ability to work both in-office for programming and on the shop floor for machine setup and operation.
- A passion for wristwatches and an appreciation for fine craftsmanship is highly preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a team-oriented mindset.
Salary : $60,000 - $80,000
