Senior Satellite Systems Engineer
Location : Germantown, MD
Salary : $120,000 - $180,000 per year
Oxford Solutions is working with a leading provider of satellite communications solutions seeking a Senior Satellite Systems Engineer to contribute to the next generation of LEO / MEO / GEO satellite systems. This role involves full lifecycle responsibilities, from conceptual design and system modeling to performance monitoring and end-of-life transitions.
Responsibilities
- Develop and refine system-level requirements for satellite communication systems.
- Conduct analysis, modeling, and simulation of system performance.
- Design system-level algorithms for power control, synchronization, and calibration.
- Perform link budget analyses and RF performance assessments.
- Evaluate and document satellite system architectures and technical specifications.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and technical performance requirements.
