Job Summary:
The Charge Nurse plays a pivotal role in overseeing patient care, coordinating nursing activities, and supervising staff. This position ensures a safe and effective environment for both residents and team members while upholding the highest standards of nursing practice.
Key Responsibilities:
o Supervise and coordinate nursing staff for efficient patient care delivery
o Monitor vital signs, administer treatments, and manage medical records
o Provide direct patient care, including IV insertions, medication administration, and wound care
o Oversee CNA staff and ensure residents receive high-quality care
o Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop individualized care plans
o Advocate for residents with disabilities, ensuring their unique needs are met
o Ensure accurate documentation of patient care and follow facility guidelines
o Maintain a culture of excellence in nursing care

Qualifications:
o Current RN or LPN license in good standing
o Experience in long-term care, critical care, or similar settings preferred
o Strong skills in patient assessment, IV insertion, and medical documentation
o Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team
o Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
o Passion for providing high-quality care to residents
