Duties
- Greet customers promptly and professionally, assessing their needs regarding automotive repairs and services.
- Document customer concerns and vehicle issues accurately to facilitate effective communication with technicians.
- Prepare detailed service estimates and communicate them clearly to customers, ensuring they understand the scope of work required.
- Coordinate with technicians to schedule repairs and align services based on customer needs and shop capacity.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions, service history, and follow-up communications.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing inquiries, resolving complaints, and ensuring overall satisfaction.
- Stay informed about new products, services, and industry trends to provide knowledgeable recommendations to customers.
- Assist with tire service operations as needed, including alignment and air brake inspections.
Experience
- Previous experience in a dealership or automotive repair environment is preferred.
- Strong customer service skills with a proven ability to communicate effectively with clients and team members.
- Mechanical knowledge related to automotive repair is essential; familiarity with auto body repair processes is a plus.
- Experience in service writing or similar roles will be advantageous.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail and accuracy.
