Job Overview
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Small Engine Repair Technician to join our team at Ozarks Outdoor Equipment. The ideal candidate will be responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining various small engines used in outdoor equipment, as well as installing and repairing snow plows. This role requires technical expertise, problem-solving skills, and a commitment to customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosis and Repair: Troubleshoot and diagnose mechanical and electrical issues in small engines, including but not limited to lawn mowers, trimmers, and other outdoor equipment.
- Snow Plow Installation and Repair: Install, maintain, and repair snow plows and related equipment, ensuring they function safely and effectively.
- Maintenance: Perform routine maintenance tasks such as oil changes, blade sharpening, air filter replacements, and spark plug inspections on small engines and snow plow systems.
- Parts Replacement: Identify and order necessary parts for repairs, ensuring timely and efficient service.
- Customer Interaction: Communicate effectively with customers to explain issues, repair options, and maintenance tips. Provide excellent customer service to enhance client satisfaction.
- Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of repairs, services performed, and parts used. Track inventory and assist in inventory management.
- Safety Compliance: Adhere to all safety guidelines and protocols while working on equipment and using tools.
- Continuous Learning: Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in small engine repair and snow plow systems.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various outdoor conditions.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.00 - $28.00 per hour
