Summary of Position:

The Account Manager position will utilize the company’s various computer programs and tools to create new accounts and maintain existing accounts to produce capital / production-based roofing opportunities. The opportunities in which the account managers are to focus on, but not limited too will be commercial re-roofing, roof over projects, coating applications, large scope repair work, maintenance work and reactionary repair work.

This includes, meeting with customers to assess and determine roof system needs. The account manager will assist team members locating, developing, estimating, and proposing remedies to issues with roof systems per Ozark standards. The account manager will be responsible for communicating findings to the customer and team members, following up with customers on a regular basis to close on proposed projects, reviewing contracts with our leadership team to consummate the sale, scheduling and taking part in “hand-off” meetings with production staff to ensure successful projects, and assist our project coordinator and accounting team with Billings as necessary. The Account manager position directly contributes to the success of the company by effectively and efficiently utilizing their specialized skills and knowledge to solve customers’ problems with the assistance of team members.

Duties & Responsibilities:

· Maintain customer relationships by providing a great experience and presenting a professional image in terms of both appearance as well as the proposed repairs or installations.

· Maintain a professional personal appearance during all work/client visits.

· Maintain assigned vehicle in a clean and organized manner at a minimum of a BI-WEEKLY schedule.

· Propose installations or repairs according to MINIMUM established Guidelines.

· Complete inspections using company software to deliver reports to our customers or for completion of estimates and proposals.

· Use company estimating software and templates to develop costs and pricing for proposed work.

· Update CRM software for delivery of proposals and sales tracking status’ from original request to contract execution.

· Ensure all supporting documentation (take off drawing and details, applicable system NOA or Florida Product Approval #, pictures, details, scope of work, etc) is documented within the CRM program.

· Review estimates and proposals with Team members prior to proposal delivery to ensure successful projects.

· Drafts and submits proposals in a timely fashion.

· Follow up with customers on a regular basis to ensure sale and customer satisfaction.

· Review proposals and contracts with our leadership team prior to contract signing.

· Assists all levels of management, as assigned.

Education & Experience:

· High school diploma or equivalent.

· 7 years or more of experience in commercial roofing across all applications (BUR, MODIFIED, TPO, PVC, EPDM, METAL, COATINGS, and METAL FLASHINGS)

· Five years or more years of experience with steep slope systems across all applications (Asphalt Shingles, Tile, and Metal)

· 5 years or more of related experience or equivalent.

· 1 year as a foreman or a senior technician with similar responsibilities.

· Experience with roofing equipment Hand Held Heat Gun, Automatic Robot, Open Flame Torch, Various hand-held tools both powered and non-powered as required by the industry.

· Must have experience with Florida building codes and product approvals for the various manufacturers.

· Must hold a valid and active Driver’s License

· Own or obtain personal hand tools necessary for the trade.

· Must be able to pass background and drug screen checks.

· Two or more years of experience working in a fast-paced customer service environment requiring heavy telephone, and e-mail interaction.

· Strong mobile computing skills via smart phone or table

· Strong experience with mobile work order systems

· Good communication skills both written and oral.

· Technical training from manufacturers is a plus.

· Edge estimating software training or experience a plus.

· Center Point CRM software training or experience a plus.

· OSHA 10, 30, Aerial Lift, Fall Protection, and Certa active certifications is a plus.

· Excellent verbal and written communication skills which are used to communicate professionally and effectively in person, on the phone, electronically or through other means to individuals and groups.

· Attention to detail with the delivery of repairs and the communication of those repairs is a MUST.

· Ability to adapt to constantly changing environments.

· There may be additional duties as required by the job or customer needs.

Physical Demands:

· Ability to lift 50 pounds without assistance.

· Ability to work in hot environments during all seasons.

· Ability to lift and set up ladders in a safe manner.

Work Environment:

This is a fast-paced team-work based environment.

Travel Requirements:

Travel will be required depending on specific customer needs.

There will be occasional travel required over the weekends as work requires.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $45,000.00 per year
